Cape Hiking offers a completely new experience in mountain walking. We are a small, highly professional company, specialising in escorted hikes in the mountains of South Africa’s Western Cape.

Visit Western Cape’s beautiful mountains with us and see an aspect of South Africa rarely seen by visitors. From the Cape Peninsula to the Cederberg Wilderness Area we take little used trails to explore these wonderful mountain ranges and National Parks with their stunning scenery and exotic flora and fauna.

Trekking trails vary from short easy walks of a few kilometres to difficult multi-day outings. The hikes we select are within the abilities of most healthy adults. Generally, exposed climbs are avoided and no previous mountain experience is necessary. A typical day will involve 4-6 hours walking on good paths. All of our guides are specialist mountaineers with Mountain Leadership qualifications and training. We also do longer, harder routes for the more experienced.
